1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using AvendraLabs ("we," "our," or "us") at www.avendralabs.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. Parents or legal guardians must agree to these terms on behalf of their children.
2. Services
AvendraLabs provides coding and technology education classes for children ages 7–17, offered online via live video sessions and in-person at select locations. Our services include private 1-on-1 sessions, group classes, coding workshops, and access to our parent portal for progress tracking.
3. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- One parent/guardian account may manage multiple students.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Payments & Subscriptions
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
- Subscription plans renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal.
- Class bundles are non-refundable once sessions have been used.
- Unused bundle sessions expire 6 months from the date of purchase.
- Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
5. Scheduling & Cancellations
- Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice.
- Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice will be counted as used.
- AvendraLabs reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to instructor availability or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a makeup session will be provided.
- Repeated no-shows (3 or more) may result in account review.
6. Code of Conduct
All students and parents are expected to:
- Treat instructors and fellow students with respect
- Arrive on time for scheduled sessions
- Use the platform and tools for educational purposes only
- Not share account credentials with others
- Not engage in disruptive behavior during sessions
AvendraLabs reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of this code of conduct.
7. Intellectual Property
- All curriculum materials, lesson plans, and platform content are the property of AvendraLabs.
- Projects and code created by students during sessions belong to the students.
- With parent permission, student projects may be featured on our showcase page for portfolio and promotional purposes.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our curriculum or materials without written permission.
8. Equipment & Technical Requirements
For online sessions, students need a computer with a stable internet connection, a webcam, and a microphone. For in-person sessions, AvendraLabs provides all necessary equipment, though students may bring their own devices. AvendraLabs is not responsible for technical issues on the student's end.
9. Limitation of Liability
AvendraLabs provides educational services on an "as is" basis. We make no guarantees regarding specific learning outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AvendraLabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
